The name ‘WoodenLegs’ refers to the feet of the lamp. Its design is a combination of 2 traditional techniques and materials : metal spinning and woodworking. The 30 or 75cm high lamps can be put on a piece of furniture or just on the floor. The higher version (120 cm) serves as a standing lamp. All 3 lamps create a pleasant atmosphere which will brighten up the room. Le nom ‘Woodenlegs’ fait référence aux pieds de la lampe. L’objet a été engendré par deux techniques et matériaux traditionnelles : le repoussage du métal et le travail du bois. La forme de l’abat-jour engendrée par le repoussage a donné forme à cette lampe ronde à laquelle ont été greffés 3 pieds en bois. La version de 30 ou 60 cm de haut peuvent être posées à même le sol ou déposé sur un meuble. La plus grande (120 cm) sert plus de lampe sur pied à déposer au sol. Les 3 lampes donnent une atmosphère agréable qui viendra illuminer les intérieurs. De naam ‘Woodenlegs’ verwijst naar de houten poten van deze lamp. 120° CoatHook , a wall version of the 120° CoatStand, consists of 3 wooden elements which interpenetrate and support each other; creating a mini structure designed to be attached to the wall. "120° CoatStand" is inspired on the classical coat stand that we see in the typical Dutch pub. Each pole of the coat stand is connected to the 2 others by smaller poles: 1 on the bottom and 1 on the top. The connections are both structural and usefull: they make the object more rigid and the little extension at each end gives the opportunity to hang an extra coat. The diagonality of the poles creates the impression of a constant rotation. This dynamism gives form to a light but tensed object. 120° Coat Stand is made of solid oak which gives, next to the form, and extra touch of simplicity. "La Liseuse" is a table lamp made of lackered steel. The shade refers to the form of a mushroom, not without recalling the general outline of a classical lamp, of which the feet and the lampshade would have been cut in two on the height. The lamp is constituted of two parts of folded steel. These two parts are combined to create a form as simple as possible. "La liseuse" est une lampe de table en acier laqué. Surmontée de son chapeau asymétrique, cette lampe fait un peu référence à la forme du champignon. Ça forme n’est pas sans rappeler la silhouette générale d’un lampe classique, dont le pieds et l’abat-jour auraient été coupés en deux sur la hauteur. La lampe est constituée de deux éléments en acier pliés et fixés ensemble pour créer un volume aussi simple que possible. "La Liseuse" is een tafellamp in gelakt staal. De kap doet denken aan een paddestoel, zonder de algemene vorm van een klassieke lamp te vergeten, waarvan de voet en de kap verticaal doormidden zouden zijn gesneden. De lamp is uit twee delen van geplooid staal vervaardigd. Deze twee delen zijn samengevoegd om een zo eenvoudig mogelijke vorm te creëren. |
"Nymphéas" is a group of 3 coffee tables that can be used together or separately. Gathered together, the 3 coffee tables create one table with 3 different levels. According to the placement of the 3 tables, the form can be changed. Living in a society which is constantly in movement and in which objects are increasingly polyvalent (multifunctional), the idea is to create a table whose form and size can be changed according to the desire of the consumer and the mood of the moment.The 3 units work as a toy, a construction game… a progressive system that comes to adapt itself to our needs The tables have the same length and width (45 cm x 64 cm) but different heights ( 30 – 40 – 50 cm) and are available in massive laminate (tablet) and laquered steel (foot). "Nymphéas" est un groupe de 3 tables basses pouvant être utilisées ensemble ou individuellement. Assemblées, elles constituent une seule table à 3 niveaux, pouvant être modulée à souhait. Séparées, elles peuvent être utilisées comme tables satellites. Vivant dans une société en perpétuel mouvement, et où les objets sont de plus en plus polyvalents, l’idée est de créer une table dont la forme et la taille peuvent changer en fonction du désir et de l’humeur du moment. Les 3 unités fonctionnent comme un jeu de construction. …… une système progressif qui vient s’adapter à nos besoins. La table est constituée d’un piétement tubulaire qui sert également de système de coulisse et d’axe de rotation pour la mise en place de rallonge. De beweging van de uitrekbare tafel wordt geherinterpreteerd. Een omwentelende beweging en een zo eenvoudig mogelijke verschuiving creëren door de handeling te beperken. Maximaal vereenvoudigen is de hoofdzaak voor deze tafel. De tafel bestaat uit een tubulair onderstel dat eveneens als schuif-systeem en draaias dient voor het verlengstuk. |
"ZigZag" makes part of the same collection as the "Shelf". This coffee table has been made of a folded leaf of steel that creates at the same time a stiff triangular form. "Shelf" is a steel wall rack. Two forms, cut out of one metal sheet, are bent to penetrate each other. The shelf is the result of the specific cutting of the metal sheet. A form closed in on itself with a tongue to hold different objects. "Shelf" est une étagère murale en acier. Deux formes découpées dans une feuille de métal sont pliées pour s’interpénétrer l’une l’autre et former une forme refermée sur elle-même avec une langue servant de tablette.
